To provide a quality environment open to the general public to purchase homegrown and homemade items provided by citizens of Avoca, Arkansas and the surrounding area. To offer a fun, family atmosphere for people to gather for entertainment.

Avoca Farmers Market

Saturdays, beginning May 1st through the end of September (subject to change per approved vendors’ input).

By each vendor between 7 am – 8 am; other times selected by vendors

Each vendor can choose when to leave the day of function. Any item(s) left on premises will become property of the Town of Avoca and license to display will be revoked immediately. Any trash in your area is your responsibility to clear away prior to leaving.

Starting season on the corner of Rose Street and Old Wire Road (was Austin Welding). Hoping to educate the public of the Depot pavilion across from Town Hall…and moving there.

Potential vendors must complete application and be approved by Market Committee. Applications available at Town Hall or Download Application Form

$25 fee for 2010 season to be used for promotion, advertising, electricity and incidentals.

Fresh produce (fruits, vegetables, herbs) *Honey * Fresh flowers & herbs * Potted herbs & plants * Handmade items (artwork, jewelry, furniture, quilts, textiles, toys, etc) * Old books, postcards, magazines * other (please list)

Being a vendor in Avoca, will allow you to attend Pea Ridge Farmer’s Market on Thursdays from 2 – 6 PM!!


We will also accept applications for the following on a first-come, first serve basis

  • Pony Rides
  • Face Painting
  • Clown(s) with Balloons
  • Food/Drink Booth
  • Other

There will be one only of each of these, with the exception of Food/Drink booths, in which case vendors will be accepted, as long as they do not serve the same or similar items. In reference to Pony Rides, the vendor must supply a release of liability form for parent/guardian of rider to sign prior to a child riding.

Any current licensed Avoca business wishing to set up a “business booth” may submit an application for approval. The same criteria as above apply. You may display brochures, business cards, etc. about your service/business. You may sell your product or service in your booth. If you wish to have both a business and individual booth, they will be contained in one space, with one cost of $25 and one vendor number, unless otherwise desired.

Approved applicants will be assigned a space to accommodate one (1) vehicle + space to set up one table (maximum 8’ length). You will also be assigned a Vendor Number that you will display at your booth. Table is provided by individual vendor. Each vendor is responsible for all display materials, signage at his/her space and pricing. Each vendor is also responsible to have his area manned at all times during hours of operation by at least one person age 18 or over. The Town of Avoca will not be held responsible for theft, damage or any other liability taking place on Town property.
